HADITH OF THE DAY

[Perozai R!nd]

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet () said, "Do not ask me unnecessarily about the details of the things which I do not mention to you. Verily, the people before you were doomed because they were used to putting many questions to their Prophets and had differences about their Prophets. Refrain from what I forbid you and do what I command you to the best of your ability and capacity". [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

عن أبي هريرة رضي اللَّه عنه ، أن رسول اللَّه صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قال : « آيَةُ المُنَافِقِ ثَلاثٌ : إذا حَدَّث كَذب ، وإذا وَعدَ أخلَف ، وإذا اؤْتُمِنِ خَانَ » متفقٌ عليه .

Abu Hurairah (Razillaho Anho) reported: Messenger of Allah() said, "Three are the signs of a hypocrite: When he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is trusted, he betrays his trust.''

عن جابر رضي اللَّه عنه أَن رسولَ اللَّه صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قال : « اتَّقُوا الظُّلْمَ فَإِنَّ الظُّلْمَ ظُلُمَاتٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، واتَّقُوا الشُّحَّ فَإِنَّ الشُّحَّ أَهْلَكَ مـَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ ، حملَهُمْ على أَنْ سفَكَوا دِماءَهُمْ واسْتَحلُّوا مَحارِمَهُمْ » رواه مسلم .

Jabir bin `Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah () said, "Beware of injustice, for oppression will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection; and beware of stinginess because it doomed those who were before you. It incited them to shed blood and treat the unlawful as lawful.'' [Muslim]

Ibn Mas`ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah () said: "The people who will be nearest to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who supplicate Allah more often for me.''[At-Tirmidhi].

Messenger of Allah () said:

There was amongst those before you a man who had a wound. He was in [such] anguish that he took a knife and made with it a cut in his hand....

Ibn Mas`ud ( Razi Allahu Taala ) reported: The Messenger of Allah() said, "A true believer is not involved in taunting, or frequently cursing (others) or in indecency or abusing.''

عَنْ أبي قَتَادَةَ ، رضي اللَّه عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : سمِعْتُ رسُول اللَّهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم يقُولُ : «مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يُنَجِّيَهُ اللَّه مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ القِيَامَةِ ، فَلْيُنَفِّسْ عَنْ مُعْسِرٍ أوْ يَضَعْ عَنْهُ » رواهُ مسلمٌ

Abu Qatadah( Raziallah o Anho) reported: The Messenger of Allah() said, "He who likes Allah to deliver him from the calamities of the Day of Resurrection, let him either give respite to a debtor or grant him remission (of loans) in straitened circumstances.''

Abu Hurairah (RAZIALLAHO ANHO) said: The Prophet MOHAMMAD() said, "It is enough for a man to prove himself a liar when he goes on narrating whatever he hears.''

وَعَنْ أبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي اللَّه عَنْهُ عَنِ النبيِّ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قَالَ : « اجْتَنِبُوا السَّبْعَ المُوبِقَاتِ » قَالُوا : يَا رسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا هُنَّ ؟ قَالَ : « الشِّرْكُ بِاللَّهِ ، السِّحْرُ ، وَقَتْلُ النَّفْسِ التي حرَّمَ اللَّه إلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ ، وَأَكْلُ الرِّبَا ، وَأكْلُ مَالِ اليتيم ، والتَّوَلِّي يَوْمَ الزَّحْفِ ، وقَذفُ المُحْصنَات المُؤمِناتِ الْغَافِلات » متفقٌ عليه

 Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet () said, "Avoid the seven destructive things.'' It was asked: (by those present): "What are they, O Messenger of Allah?'' He replied, "Associating anyone or anything with Allah in worship; practising sorcery, killing of someone without a just cause whom Allah has forbidden, devouring the property of an orphan, eating of usury, fleeing from the battlefield and slandering chaste women who never even think of anything touching chastity and are good believers.''

`Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`As (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah () said, "A (true) Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe; and a Muhajir (Emigrant) is he who leaves the deeds which Allah has prohibited.'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Abu Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah said, "The supplication of a Muslim for his (Muslim) brother in his absence will certainly be answered. Everytime he makes a supplication for good for his brother, the angel appointed for this particular task says: 'Ameen! May it be for you, too'." [Muslim] [/color]
