Comon words in Balochi and Brahvai
Imdad Baloch:
Again i am starting a new topic but using English language. My aim of using English language here is that both Balochi and Brahvai speaking Baloch participate in this discussion.
The topic is about sharing words which exist both in Balochi and Brahvai languages. The words may not exist with exact spellings in both languages, but the words must be derivation of the other.
Here are few examples:
Melh = Mesh
Buzgal = Buzgal
Adeera = Adeera
Damb = Damb
Burwaank = Burwaan
Zoo = Zuth
Ba = Bia
Pashal = Pashal
Mehr = Mehr
Sangat = Sangat
Bahot = Bahot
Kachahri = Kachahri
Diwan = Diwan
Lashkar = Lashkar
Beyr = Beyr
There is alot more. There might be cases when other words are used in both language for same thing other the comon words in both languages, but our focus here is to share the comon words only. For example, we have another word "Shakkii" for "Pashal", but i mentioned the word Pashal in the above list because "pashal" is also used in Brahvai.
There are other amazing and un-believeable similarities between Balochi and Brahvai language, but i will not mention those until our above list reaches atleast 500 words ^o)

Interesting facts about numerical in Brahvai Language.
They start like this:
1 = Asit
2 = Irat
3 = Musit
4 = Chaar
5 = Panch
6 = Shash
and so on...........
Notice here that only the first 3 numbers are named different than that of Balochi. All the remaining are same.
But........................
Asit, Irat, Musit are used only when you start counting with them, or you are counting something from scratch,,,,,,,,,,
Than, did you notice?????????????/////
The names of the day are not Asit Shambey o Irat Shambey and so on.......
But, these are Yak Shambey o Do Shambey and so on........
What if you ask someone time and the first 3 numbers are used in his answer?????????????????///
Q. What is time in your watch?
A. Do neym
Sawa Yak
Saey Baja Yak Mint
He will never say.......
Irat neym
Sawa Asit
Musit Baja Asit Mint
This will be the case anytime you use these numbers other than counting them in sequence from Scratch.
