Poems worth Sahring
« on: May 14, 2006, 02:24:30 PM »
Its a nice, describing the thoughts of an old person that how he feel himself lonely after getting old.

I AM STILL HERE .

People walk by me without looking,
thinking my mind is gone.
True my brain is shutting down,
can't talk right,
forgetful at times,
memory short
sometimes gone.

I am like a child
or even an infant
or so it is now.

No so long ago
I was just like you,
walking by those like me now
thinking that their is nothing there,
only remains of what was once human,
intelligent,
a being capable of thought.

I am still me
I am inside
my mind works my brain doesn't

I want to speak but can't,
I sometimes know what I want
but I can't get it out,
I babble,
it hurts when others think I am no more,
when I am inside
looking out.

My brain is a prison of my mind
my soul is alive
wanting to be free

Soon I will be released
free to fly away and be free
to be
to love
and communicate
with those around me
and with God.

Don't be like me
passing by
those trapped within.

TOO LATE.

Many do not know,
The separation from loved ones,
The reasons no matter how good,
The anger,
Pride,
Stubbornness,
Only hide the love hidden,
Deep beneath the seething anger,
To erupt after the one rejected,
Dies.

Parents who reject their children,
Sons and daughters,
 Who do not speak,
Too late learn,
As they wake
To the nightmare
Of what was lost,
Now gone forever,
The one they thought they hated,
But loved still.

The wound
That never heals,
Regret growing with each New Year,
All because of foolish pride,
And the forgetfulness
Of the horror
Of the death of a loved one
Scorned;
Now missed
More than life itself.

SHE FOLLOWS THE WIND

How the wind does howl, calling out her name
it beckons through the treetops, she can sense the pain

There's a need that is urgent, as she mounts her horse
she must ride quickly towards the sound of the voice

With horse gallopping swiftly, over hills and plain
for the sound is familiar, it is that of her man

They were deeply in love, another place, another time
he is now calling out for her and to him she must ride

The wind changes direction, she fears she is lost
she must go to her lover, no matter what cost

She listens intently for the sound to return
her heart beating madly, for her lover she yearns

She rides up the mountains and down valleys below
his voice getting closer with each step as she goes

Alone by the ocean, he sits day after day
for his sweet love is now gone, not long since passed away

His heart is now mournful, and oft he does cry
the breeze carrying his anguish, up into the sky

As she continues to ride upon her trusted black steed
to follow the wind and the cries she must heed

~I Miss You~

Everyday Comes nd Goes
Each Night I“m Alone
I Can“t Seem To Think Clearly
I“m Left Here On My Own
I Walk Down The Crowded Avenue
People All Around
Something Is not Here That I Miss
I Look Inside Myself
There Is Only Emptyness
Or I Can Walk On A Lonely road
No One Here By My Side
If I Told U I“m Happy Now
Thats Not the Truth...
I Lied...
I Could Continue This Path I“m On
I Could Probably Make It Through
I“ve Everything I Need To Get By
Except...!!!
The Onething Missing In My Life
“Is You“

Na Janay Kiyon Aatay Hain Zindagi Mian Aysay Log
Jin Ki Yadain Bin Jati Hain Zindagi Ka Roog

This poem is written by an African, The way he explained his Individuality is just amazing.

When I born, I Black,
When I grow up, I Black,
When I go in Sun, I Black,
When I scared, I Black,
When I sick, I Black,
And when I die, I still black.......

And you White fella,

When you born, you Pink,
When you grow up, you White,
When you go in Sun, you Red,
When you cold, you Blue,
When you scared, you Yellow,
When you sick, you Green,
And when you die, you Gray.................

And you calling me Colored ?????????

Without you, what is life?
What is there to live for?
Without you, what is life?
How can my life go on without you?
The nights are longer than centuries
the days pass more slowly than millenia
Come back to me! my heart is calling
In the evenings, loneliness wakes (in me).
I'm missing you
I feel like I'm dying
you are tormenting me
In this heart memories of you clamor
How lonely I am without you!
Come back to me! my heart is calling.
The things I'd imagined for us!
The dreams I'd embroidered!
The many things my heart hoped for!
The desires that stirred in me...
Storms pass through this heart of mine
without you, I manage to neither live nor die
How can my life go on without you?
Come back to me! my heart is calling
If I live, how could I live without you?
How can I describe what this life would be like without you...
It would be like a punishment, like a curse...
I've made this decision,
I won't live without you
Someone should give me poison; I'll drink it with a laugh
I could bear every pain;
I could live under any condition
but I cannot endure the agony of separation
I cannot remain here without you
I love you so much, darling... I'll swear to it, if you wish...I swear by God,
Every moment is filled with my desire for you...
How can such longing exist, darling?
If I meet you, then...
I will explain it to you
My poem is a fantasy of you...
I can't accept life without you now...
I'll love you like this I'll love you like this
as long I have breath within me
How mad my heart is! It loves you so much...but when you come online it fears saying anything.
How much I reason with it!
How much I try to make it relax!
It's innocent; it understands nothing
Day and night, it swells with sighs
It makes me pine ceaselessly; it keeps me awake all night long.
You don't know this but it's devoted to you alone
Until my breath departs, I will not forget you
I can't live without you;
I swear it to you!
Without seeing or knowing you, I gave you my heart;
in my heartbeats is your life
My heart longs to meet you, I am a poet & ure my poem
How could I describe to you, darling, how much I love you?
The magic of you has overwhelmed my heart
