The rich, the middle class, and the poor; are described by the way we live and the amount of money one has.
There are many different ways of describing what poverty is, whether it is by how you live, how much money you have, or in statistical terms. Poverty isn't always a bad thing it is just another way of living, another way of life.
There are different kinds of poverty that you can measure.
There is relative poverty that can be measured to the rest of the population. Relative poverty is measuring less than fifty percent than the average income or wealth that a person has. That means that if you make less than half of what the average person makes you are poor. Relative poverty still means that you are able to survive, but not to the standard that most are at.
There is also absolute poverty. This means that you are unable to provide the necessary things that you need to survive in your daily life. Things like food shelter and medical attention.
There are million or more people daily sleeping on the sidewalks or in the streets, with no home to go to.
Please include your quotes in support of Poverty about poor people whom they struggling to live with difficulty. You can post your quotes with any of the following languages:
1. Balochi
2. Urdu
3. English
I hope to receive some favorable responses from our Baask's beloved brothers and sisters to participate in support of our poor, unemployment, uneducated, unwanted, neglected, abandoned, uncared, unloved and homeless around the globe.
OK. Let us begin!
People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies.
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.
Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight.
Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten.
Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.
Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.
Mother Teresa.
Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.
Mother Teresa.
Poverty has been created by the economic and social system that we have designed for the world. It is the institutions that we have built and feel so proud of, which created poverty them.
Muhammad Yunus.
The problems we face today, violent conflicts, destruction of nature, poverty, and hunger and so on, are human-created problems which can be resolved through human effort, understanding and the development of a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood. We need to cultivate a universal responsibility for one another and the planet we share.
Dalai Lama.
Those who want to help the poor but, they don't have enough money and those who have more than enough, they don't want to give it to the poor.

Quotes, even if they are just one liners however sometimes they convey such a deep meaning that one is felt deeply touched, impressed and respected at times. Quotes and sayings are just a way of expressing the thoughts on certain subject.
Anyone who has ever struggled with poverty knows how extremely expensive it is to be poor.
Baldwin,James.
"Resolve not to be poor: whatever you have, spend less. Poverty is a great enemy to human happiness; it certainly destroys liberty, and it makes some virtues impracticable, and others extremely difficult"
Samuel Johnson.
"How strange it is, that a fool or knave, with riches, should be treated with more respect by the world, than a good man, or a wise man in poverty!"
Ann Radcliffe.
"If poverty is the mother of crime, lack of good sense is the father"
Jean de La Bruy.
"The man who has no money is poor, but one who has nothing but money is poorer. He only is rich who can enjoy without owning; he is poor who though he has millions is covetous"
Orison Swett Marden.
"What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like"
Saint Augustine.
"Any city however small, is in fact divided into two, one the city of the poor, the other of the rich. These are at war with one another"
Plato.
"Youth is the best time to be rich, and the best time to be poor"
Euripides
.
"I am a poor man, but I have this consolation: I am poor by accident, not by design"
Josh Billings.
"We have two American flags always: one for the rich and one for the poor. When the rich fly it means that things are under control; when the poor fly it means danger, revolution, and anarchy"
Henry Miller.

We create institutions and policies on the basis of the way we make assumptions about us and others. We accept the fact that we will always have poor people around us. So we have had poor people around us. If we had believed that poverty is unacceptable to us, and that it should not belong to a civilized society, we would have created appropriate institutions and policies to create a poverty-free world.
Muhammad Yunus.
However mean your life is, meet it and live it: do not shun it and call it hard names. Cultivate poverty like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Things do not change, we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.
Henry David Thoreau.
Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe.
Frederick Douglass.
Just because a child's parents are poor or uneducated is no reason to deprive the child of basic human rights to health care, education and proper nutrition.
Marian Wright Edelman.
In this new century, many of the world's poorest countries remain imprisoned, enslaved and in chains. They are trapped in the prison of poverty. It is time to set them free. Like slavery and apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and it can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings.
Nelson Mandela.
"I have tremendous confidence in the capacity of the poor to transform not only their own lives but also to build a just, humane, and democratic society."
Ruth Manorama.
"We know that many boys and girls leave school because of poverty, because they have to work. However, there are an important number of children who abandon their studies because of the abuses they're subject to by teachers and their own parents."
Shakira.

If you think you're beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don't;
If you'd like to win, but think, you can't
It's almost a cinch you won't.
If you think you will lose, you're lost;
For out in the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will,
It's all in the state of mind.
If you think you're outclassed, you are;
You've got to think high to rise.
You've got to hustle before
You can ever win a prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the one who thinks he can.
Walter D.
It is easy enough to tell the poor to accept their poverty as God's will when you yourself have warm clothes and plenty of food and medical care and a roof over your head and no worry about the rent. But if you want them to believe you - try to share some of their poverty and see if you can accept it as God's will yourself!
Thomas Merton.
The poverty of our century is unlike that of any other. It is not, as poverty was before, the result of natural scarcity, but of a set of priorities imposed upon the rest of the world by the rich. Consequently, the modern poor are not pitied... but written off as trash. The twentieth-century consumer economy has produced the first culture for which a beggar is a reminder of nothing.
Jane Addams.
Globalization has improved the lives of people throughout the world, but it has also widened the gap between rich and poor...Working to end poverty will make the world safer.
Robert Alan.
I have come to the conclusion that until I find and heal the fears in me that I do not know about, and those that I do know about, I will not be able to contribute much that will not be part of the many challenges we face – such as brutality, poverty, drug abuse, child abuse, abuse of the environment, and abuse of women, to name a few.
Gary Zukav.
"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have enough; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."
Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
Poverty is a weapon of mass destruction. Homelessness is a weapon of mass destruction. Unemployment is a weapon of mass destruction.
Dennis Kucinich.
