First of all I request that non of us take this discussion personally…..

Though our approaches are different ..our aim is same….



Secondly
I am repeatedly saying that my intensions are not to accuse any of the balochi songs or singers …but to bring up some of the generally un-noticed faults in the songs so that they could be corrected with the help of  INCREASE  IN  DEMAND  OF POSITIVE SONGS.

Our country cant gain success unless it travels through each hardship step by step…

In no way it is possible that ..one fine day …we take a trumpet and say to the people that come rage a war against who have made u suffer and gain success…
Everything need to go though the process of achievement …even if one step is missed… the success mite be achieved but still with cuts that can break it again …

Along the process of this journey I saw that A CHANGE IN media  ((the poplar balochi SONGS…their lyrics)) IS IMPORTANT



And I say this not from my own pocket….but from great leaders who have earlier achieved what we are in way to achieve….



GANDHI JI :
When he went out to achieve his aim ….
He first slowly …slowly went to each and every place and put the ideas in their heads….
He brought a CHANGE IN THE WAYS OF SINGERS …. He was able to transform the thoughts of singers to positive thoughts that would help the nation to go
ahead…(not only in terms of  revolution but the general characters of individual)

And this he did because  he knew that to affect ppl and to make them think POSITIVELYand have sensible thoughts rather than those thoughts of misery and licker and other bad stuff) …. A change in media (especially the lyrics) was important because music had the power to take a role in shaping puplic thoughts

Even when in france the thoughts of liberty were first up coming….
They had brought change in media coz it had power to shape puplic views…

So its true that ppl's personal choice can make them think sensibly..but majority of the puplic are choiceless …we can say that  more or less puplic have the choice that is POPULAR……




Its true that me ( being an individual of baloch public) like many other balochs ….
I have very limited access to balochi poetry and knowledge about baloch past …
And that’s how majority of  baloch are… most of the baloch have access to the POPULAR SONGs and not the other valuable poetry that might have been known to few….



So all I intended was the upliftment of the VALUABLE   THOUGHTS of baloch rather than those senseless songs……..


And as for the already existing valuable thought in poetry ….we wish that these poetry are made up into songs because songs are more easily acceptable and accessible to majority of the baloch puplic….

A  very controversial topic has commenced and most probably ended as well.Anyhow after reading the different posts i personally do agree with most of them like Gwaduri,Sir Lion of Desert,Maharang Askani etc.As far as the question, why such worthless music or songs are being flourished, is concerned ,it is simple ,that our youth is deeply immersed into such type of music which is hiking the demand of such music and ultimately smashing the music culture to the smithereens one way or the other.This scenario would definitely discourage the good poets and the singers as well.And even sometimes good poets and singers are compelled to follow suit in this situation , after all every one has to meet his ends.Another question which is mind boggling that why most of the people are used to such music ,the answer could be, they are following all others who feel proud listening to such music or lacking sense or not yet achieved the maturity or backwardness or saturation of such music only or lack of interest or lack of understanding the great poets like Sayyad ,Qazi etc. and many other reasons could verily justify the boost up of this kind of music .But one thing is clear that everyone has his own personal musical interest , so one cannot coerce someone to listen to good music .And one thing i must ensure here that it is also not like this that there is lack of good poets and singers ,on the contrary there are dozens of good singers as well as poets but unfortunately they are not focused and paid heed.

Miss Askani deserves applause for compelling us to think and comment on whatever ways we were able to perceive and understand from the posts our fellow Baasks posted.

This discussion may continue for years if Admins don't find it as controversial or Baasks contributed responsibly.

But we want people to listen to this and do the improvements.
I know many poets are net savvy today.
but what the singers?
do they know what the heck is internet???
I think they must know how this world looks like and hence they can share their stories.
this may open new ways for them and they might go international this way.
In my opinion Our slavery has nothing to do with the situations in the music in the sense how music are composed and what poets write. its actually a responsibility issue.

Well, in reality poetry is difficult than common language. Most Baluchi songs are difficult to understand, consequently boring. But an other solid reality is most of the Baluchi songs are in Mekrani Baluchi, causing more problem for us to grsap the meaning of what is being uttered out, since I speak an other version of Baluchi.

I'd go with balushyno1 and DigitalWalk in this regard that the vocals are alright but the music are all the same and omani music are way better. Classic music e domba tachaga ma hech deema naraptagi'. I mean classic is the best but we should also pay attention to new generation of music @journey : Don't look at the politics side I mean look at the paki songs many songs have no meaning in vocals but still people like them bcz of their music. < I mean no disrespect. We shouldn't forget the classical instead many countries have that kind of music which is called classical + rock which means they use new instruments with the classical ones why can't we??. And its not a sin to use musical instruments of other cultures with your own vocals look at indian industry they use persian songs like Boro Boro in Bluffmaster. English, French everything they copy everyone and give credit to only a few I'm not talking that our industry should copy music I mean we should also go beyond the classical instruments and add some flavour to our music this is the only way to attract people. Btw I also like Basit and Golbang both are my favourite.
