A little about history about Brahvai Language

barahvi is one of the oldest languages of world. its a daravrian language.
around 5000 years back people used  to talk in barahvi or some related languages.it was the language of people of Mohinjodaro. the most civilized nation of its time.
it is stated that baravi's are the  generation of Hazrat ibrahim, so it's name is derived from it.
there are many related languages, a major part of which lives in india.
in india four similar languages are spoken they are telugu, tamil,
kannada and malayalam, all of which share some basic linguistic. with barahvi.
these are the main languages of Andhra Pradesh, south-eastern India.
In pakistan when it was Khans time, the royal communities had given many rights to the people of  balochistan. there was a vast division of lands and property. So in accordance with that different casts rose due to the  place in which they lived.
pandrani s' are from pandran, zehri s' from zehri neechari from thier land.

The Brahui language is mainly spoken in Balochistan, Pakistan, although also in Afghanistan and Iran by the Brahui. It reportedly [1] has about two million speakers in Pakistan (1998), and a tenth that number elsewhere. In Pakistan it is mainly spoken in the Kalat region of Balochistan.

Although it is a Dravidian language, it has been heavily influenced by other languages spoken in the area and shares few words with the Dravidian languages spoken in southern India and Sri Lanka.

Brahui is generally considered to be a remnant of a formerly more widespread Dravidian language family that was reduced during the Indo-Aryan migration. It is also sometimes speculated that Brahui might be a direct legacy of the Indus Valley Civilisation.

Bravi Baloch people


The Brahui are an ethnic group of about 2.2 million people with the majority found in Kalat, Pakistan, but also found in smaller numbers in neighboring Afghanistan and Iran. They are closely linked to the Baloch with whom they have substantially intermingled and whose cultural traits they have absorbed. Linguistically, they speak the Brahui language, which is a North Dravidian language, but due to its isolation from the other Dravidian tongues it has considerable Balochi vocabulary and even counting begins with Balochi numbers. There is no distinct indigenous script for Brahui; like Balochi it is written in Perso-Arabic alphabet. Brahui is spoken in the following areas: Merv area of Turkmenistan, Sindh, Zahedan and Zabol in Iranian Balochistan, southern parts of Afghanistan, Pakistan Balochistan and with the bulk in the Jhalawan region.
